About Culinary Productions

Culinary Productions, Inc. is a full-service premiere catering company that has been servicing the Gulf Coast area since 2004. With over 25 years of experience in the catering industry, owner Mike DeSorbo can provide catering services for all types of events. CPI can execute everything from wedding receptions, rehearsal dinners, corporate events, served dinners to gourmet buffets, and much more. We can help make any and all arrangements for your event, including referrals for music, photographers, florists, salons, wedding coordinators, ordering rentals, and coordinating with other vendors.

CPI customizes each menu to fit the client’s needs. There are a few different factors that help determine pricing for each event. Food items, the number of items, and the type of event are just a few examples of what determines pricing for each event. After sitting down with each client, a proposal is then worked up with the desired services and menu items requested.

We also offer free consultations in person or by phone to gather all the information needed for an event. In order to book a date, a 10% deposit is required to hold the date. Please fill out the “Contact Us” form or call the office at 850-469-0445 to book your appointment.

CPI does not take walk-ins for consultations. Consultations can be booked by calling the office or filling out the contact form.

Please Note:

Labor costs also have to be factored in - the total cost for wait staff will depend on the number of guests and complexity of your menu. Please see "Additional Pricing" below, or cost of wait staff.
Depending on the details of your party, you may need to factor in other costs, such as tables, linens, glasses, etc. Please see the additional pricing table.
CPI will provide plates and flatware at no additional charge, and will also provide any serving pieces and platters for a buffet set up.

Payment Policy:

There are no costs or fees for consultations or proposals.
CPI requires a 10% deposit to book the date with the remaining balance and guest count due ten days prior to the event
Deposit must be made with credit card. Subsequent payments and final payment may be made with credit card or check.
We offer discounted rates for Charity, Nonprofits and Military. Make sure to inquire!

Owner and Operator Mike DeSorbo opened the doors to Culinary Productions March 2004. With over 20 years of experience, he brings the knowledge and expertise needed to ensure that your event will be a complete success. Over the last 13 years, Culinary Productions has grown to become one of the area’s premiere catering companies. Our customer service is a top priority. That combined with a superb wait staff and extraordinary food is a driving force behind the success of the company. Mike works closely with each client to customize a menu that suits their needs and tastes. Customizing menus is what sets Culinary Productions apart from the competition. This philosophy has become a trademark for Culinary Productions and is what creates a one-of-a-kind and unique experience for our clients.

"CPI catered my daughter's wedding on April 30, 2016. Mike DeSorbo, Deona, Dalise and the rest of the staff were so easy to work with and made this nervous mom feel very much at ease!
